This award honors the best nonfiction books published for young adults (ages 12-18).

Alex Award

The Alex Awards are given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18

ALA Teens Top 10 - Fiction

The Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in schools and public libraries around the country

Recognizing an African American author of outstanding books for children and young adults.

Belpré Medal (Author)

Honors a Latino/Latina author whose works best portray, affirm, and celebrate the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth.

Given to the producer of the best audiobook for children and/or young adults.
