On October 26, our RB Digital Audiobook collection was moved to the Libby/OverDrive platform. For now, the RB Digital Magazine collection will remain on the RB Digital platform and app. Please see the FAQ below to learn more about this transition or contact your local library.
Q. Can I start using Libby/OverDrive now?
A. Yes. Visit Wisconsin's Digital Library now or download the Libby app. You will use your library card number and PIN to sign in if you are not already a Libby/OverDrive user. The RB Digital audiobook collection will be added on the 26th of October.
Q. Can I keep borrowing Audiobooks in RB Digital?
No. After your library's ebooks and/or audiobooks move to Libby, any current audiobook checkouts will be available in RBdigital through the remainder of their lending periods. This way, you can finish listening without disruption or risk of losing your place in the book.

If you want a record of your RBdigital holds, you can export your Transaction History from RBdigital websites under My Account > Profiles.

Only ebooks and audiobooks will be moved to Libby at this time. Please continue to use RBdigital for other types of digital content from your library.
Q. What if I won't be able to use Libby?
Once your library's ebooks and/or audiobooks move to Libby, if you still aren't able to use Libby or libbyapp.com, you can use the original OverDrive app or your library's OverDrive website instead. These alternatives have the same titles as Libby, but offer slightly different features and device compatibility.

Please Note: OverDrive has recently acquired RBmedia’s library business, including RB Digital Audiobooks and Magazines. Sometime in the near future, RB Digital content will migrate to OverDrive. When we migrated from our old catalog to our new one, there were some data inconsistencies that have caused some issues when trying to limit your search to DVDs. Some DVDs are showing up as "Video Recording" in the catalog.
If you searched for Rainmaker and limited to format DVD, you would miss this record. Until we are able to fix all these records, we recommend using the broader "Video Recording" limit
This limit will display DVD, Blu-Ray, eVideo, and those DVD that are incorrectly listed as "Video Recording." If you are really lucky, you might also find a collectors item VHS.
UPDATED 9/5/2020. We believe the problem with OverDrive loans and holds showing incorrectly and the problem of placing holds has been fixed. Please let you local library know if you are still seeing problems with your OverDrive titles in your account activity.
There is currently a problem in the catalog with OverDrive titles. OverDrive titles listed in your InfoSoup Loans and Holds are not updating. Trying to place OverDrive holds in InfoSoup, for many users, also bring up a "Your account does not appear to be valid" error.
Until this issue is resolved we recommend that users go directly to OverDrive (https://wplc.overdrive.com) or use Libby or the OverDrive app for all OverDrive transactions. Loans and Holds will display correctly in OverDrive and in Libby. For now, please ignore any of the information in InfoSoup regarding your OverDrive Loans and Holds.
The new catalog is live
The first time you log in, you PIN will be your birthday in 6 digit, MMDDYY format. You will be able to change your PIN after that.
Update about paying fines online. You can now pay fines online in the catalog!
Please see our New Catalog FAQ page for details about the new catalog.
Update about placing holds (6/25/2020): The place a hold button is back! InfoSoup users can now place holds and request items from their own library and from other InfoSoup libraries. Due to limited transit between libraries, users will be limited to placing 10 holds. Users who already have more than 10 holds will not lose these holds. Please also note that due to changes in how holds are delivered, InfoSoup can no longer display your position in a holds queue.
Update about returned items (6/12/2020: Due to quarantine of materials you may receive an overdue notice for a returned item if a due date passes while the item is in quarantine. Please disregard these notices. All items will be backdated to the date they were returned and no fines assessed due to quarantining. Please wait at least 3 days before contacting your library about returned material. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Update about limited deliver service: We have begun limited transit between libraries filling existing holds.
The request/hold button in InfoSoup is still suppressed while we work through the backlog of old holds. Other than for existing holds, items are still currently only available at the owning library. Status changed on 6/25/2020.
Update - 6/3/2020
Some InfoSoup Libraries are opening on a limited basis. Please contact you local library to learn more.
Many InfoSoup libraries are offering curbside pick-up and some libraries are looking to open soon by appointment. Since delivery service has not been reinstated between libraries, materials are limited to what is currently available at each location. While you can still see what your local library has available by searching InfoSoup, the ability to request material and place holds has been temporarily removed from the InfoSoup catalog.
Pick-up service is by appointment only and will vary by library. Please contact your local library to learn if/when curbside pick-up service will be available and how to request and pick up materials.
